I have a motherboard that has 2xPCI, 1xPCI Express x16

Which I have little to no idea what it means. SO, My question is, what would be a good, if not best video card for gaming that I could get for under 100 online. Thank you in advance.

Just thought I would add a little more information about my computer. 2.0gb ram, Intel Core 2 Duo E4600, and my current Video card is a nVIDIA GeForce 8300 GS.

I would say the ATI 4770 for sure.

It lies inbetween the 4830 and the 4850.

First and for most - What kind of Motherboard are you running on, depending on the type, you could only be able to run Nvidia or both.

XFX PVT96OZDFU GeForce 9600 GSO 1GB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

I decided to get this video card, upon suggestion from a friend who said PCI Express 2.0 will work with 1.0 for the most part.

PCI-E 2.0 will work fully in a PCI-E 1.0 board (I did it with my 4850 before upgrading). The main issue is whether you have enough power supply for your new card (which you probably do for a 9600, but it is always worth checking.
