This may sound stupid, but if a motherboard is x16/x16/x8 or whatever... the first two slots are x16? or if i use the 1st and 3rd slots will that run at x16? anyone explain? It is prolly obvious :kaola:

No worries... when you buy a mobo like the one you described then yes, the first two slots run at x16 and the third at x8, meaning if you have 2 video cards you should use the first 2 slots. As far as using the 1st and 3rd slot, you will not be runing both cards at x16, so don't even try it as you would be wasting your time....
