Just set up New XFX nForce 750i SLI Motherboard, CPU Intel core 2 Quad 8200 Processor w/fan bundle, XFX Radeon HD 4650 Video card - 1024MB DDR2, PCI Express 2.0. CrossFireX (2) Dual-link DVI. A Cooler eXtreme Power Plus 500 watt Power supply, OCZ Vista Upgrade Edition Dual Channel 4096MB PC6400 DDR2 899 MHz Memory (2x2048MB). Clean install of Windows XP, It formatted the drive and started installing the Windows. It formatted for 79 minutes Then it started installing Windows XP Pro for 8 minutes then died. Cannot restart the computer. When trying to restart computer the power supply fan would not turn and the CPU fan twitched but wouldn't run. Tested power supply - PASSED TEST. Tried the power supply in another unit and it worked in another computer as expected. Question: has anyone had a similar experience and are there any work around.

Try removing one stick of ram and install again. Also double check all connections.
