Consumer ir devices code 31

Hello,
my laptop has been blue screening a lot recently and it shows that the Consumer IR device has error 31. Is it ok to unintstall it and where do i reinstall it from?

Probably a problem with RAM.

You probably don't even need it, very very few people use IR ports. Just disable it and see what happens.
