Comm Poert Problem

Hi.
I was infected by a bad trojan a couple of days ago and managed to get rid of that but now i have found out that Comm port 1 is not working.Device status states:Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19).How can i reinstall this Port

Right-click on it in Device Manager, delete it. Then do a scan for new hardware, it should pick it up again, may ask you for the Windows CD to copy files from. Try re-installing the Chipset drivers for the system, that may re-install the port.

Did what you told me to do.Deleted it and did a new hardware scan and there it was.
System picked it up and now it is back and working.
