Hi,

I am having problems getting my monitor to work with a DVI cable.

I have a BenQ V2400W that is connected to a ATI Sapphire 4890 via a DVI cable.

The monitor works fine when I use the DSub adapter and a DSub cable. But when using DVI I get 'No Signal' message.

I have tried:
- power cycling the monitor.
- restarting the computer with only the DVI cable
- Forcing TV detection in the CCC

But DVI does not seem to work.

Other specs:
- Windows 7 64bit
- Catalyst Control Centre 9.4
- i7 920
- 6GB memory

You could have one of three issues:

1. You did not set the monitor to auto detect the signal or set it to DVI.
2. The DVI port of the video card is not working properly.
3. The DVI port of the monitor is not working properly.

#1 is easy enough by going into the OSD (on screen display) and look thru the menu.

#2 & #3 will probably require you to test using a spare (or friend's video card). You could bring the monitor to a friend's place to test. You
