Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a good router for my home office and I'm not sure which model to choose. I heard Cisco is the most reliable. Would you recommend buying used/refurbished equipment or is it better to invest in a new router? Which one of these Cisco routers you think is the best for a home-based office?

Who is your ISP? You would need to check and see if they will allow one of them directly connected to their network, if its possible. Those Cisco routers are business class and not really meant to be used in a home situation, although you can use them there.
Pick up a SOHO router from Best Buy or another electronics dealer and save some money.
