Is this a good build?

Hello, I'm trying to build a fairly decent gaming computer, but this is my first time.

I basically don't know much about configuring or building computers, other than what parts do what and how and where to plug them in. I'm not planning on overclocking this build, but i just wanted to see if this will work. Without blowing up or anything:

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon 4850 X2 2 GB
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz
Motherboard: ASUS P6T
RAM: 6GB (2x3 DIMMS) OCZ Gold DDR3 Triple-channel 1600MHz memory
HDD: Western Digital Caviar black 640GD
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-S223F
Power Supply: Corsair TX750W
Case: Cooler Master Centurion 534

Is there anything I need to know when building it? Or have I selected parts that won't work. I'm mainly concerned about the power supply. Is it enough or too much?

I'm a noob, but any comments at all are welcome.

psu is just fine

overall good

look at some aftermarket coolers and termal paste
some one here should know of a good one

if you arent aware of it do a little research on static discharge
(please no one start arguing about the specifics of this but a newbie should be aware of the dangers no mater what they do with it)
