More about 1090t
  1. Main reason for this is that im worried my 1090t will bottle kneck my GPU on stock clocks.
  2. good Oc via Bios :
this way guide overclock your motherboard :

your CPU is Black edition increase Multiplier till max
for higher clock in oC you must raise CPU Ration , Disabled C1E cool N Quite,
test use IBT for fast .and lonmg time use prime 95
  3. Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

    1- Disable C1E, Cool'n'Quite and Turbo core.
    2- Read this guide:
3- Come back if you need more help of have specific problems.
    4- Don't go over 55ºC on load.
    5- 1.55V max on Vcore

Remember all components and conditions are different, so, even with same components you WON'T get the same results.
  4. The easiest way, maybe or not the best, is you AI Suite that came with the installation CD of your mobo as I have the same one and it makes it a piece of cake. You can adjust core voltage, HT reference freq., and multipliers there in Windows. No messing with the BIOS. It even has the speed and settings on opening up. I am at 4.1 Ghz using it and am having a blast working with it.
  5. Regarding AI suite, so you havent had to use the BIOS at all to say turn off C1E or turbo core or cool n quite ?
  6. Using BIOS or software (AI suite or AOD), you still have to disable C1E, Cool'n'quite and turbo core.
  7. ok disabled those 3 in bios but for some reason still get no OC options on AI suite when i run it ?
  8. My advice, overclock using BIOS.
  9. Hmm still gettin bsod on prime95 even with cpu voltage at 1.425
  10. OK got the 3 things u said disabled, got multiplier at 20, RAM set 1600mhz cpu voltage set at 1.45, and so far so good on prime95, temps seem to have maxed out at 55C, is that temp safe?
  11. Yeah that temp is safe.

Test the rig at stock before test it at OC settings.
  12. Why test at stock buddy ? Still working prime95 with no bsod for 1hour 15 mins now.
  13. By the way what is the best cooler for my 1090t, dont mind Water or Air, just want to know the best cpu cooler i can buy for my cpu dont wish to spend more than$150 though.
  14. Because BSoD can be the RAM if your specs aren't correct.

Regarding the cooler, Thermalright Archon>Thermalright Silver Arrow>Noctua NH-D14
  15. Are all those better than any of the compact water coolers as i was looking at a Corsair Hydro H70 High-Performance.
  16. Yeah, much better for less price.
  17. So of those 3 you mentioned which would you get with my setup and an Antec 1200 case?
  18. Any one of those fit in your case and rig.
