I am looking at several 4890 cards, there are many different brand, my question is they spec all look the same, so does brand name matter? What is the best brand to get? What about HIS, HIS is having a 4890 card for $200 after rebate at newegg, which sounds very good.

I live in the UK and have plenty of consumer protection so brand means little here.
Elsewhere though the warranty is, for me, the deciding factor when giving advice.
I would be happy to pay a little more knowing I was getting good customer service and a good warranty.
Generally EVGA, XFX and BFG have that support, so I would be happy to recommend any of these suppliers.

the only things it matters for is....
-memory
-coolers (important)
-cool looking
-customer support/satisfaction

sometimes they factory overclock them but you shouldn't even bother with those cards because you can overclock on your own.

yeah like he said, going for the better deal is normally what you should do.
