Hello, i need to find the right PSU for my system:
Rampage III Extreme, CPU intel 980x, 2 x Nvidia gtx 580 SLI, 12GB ram 2000(6x2), 6 HDD, 1 SSD, 2 DVD, 10 fan, 1 onboard Lan, 1 onboard sound, and i will go OC

what do u mean by over kill? Asus power suplpy calculator suggests 1350 w!

maybe u guys should know that i'm using it mostly for rendering Maya. i know it is not a professional system but it is the best that i can do..i need some technical respond plz

this your review cnsumption Watt for SLI GTX 850.. revisi I think 1000W Corsair is enough :

GTX 580 is listed with a max power consumption of 244W (slightly less than the 480)
