Hi

just got my pc up and running with vista x64 on a ASUS P5Q Premium (P45)
for some reason my vista will only boot on 2 gb of ram (Corsairs Dominator 4gb kit "CM2X2048-8500C5D,1066 Mhz 2.10v").
when install additional 2gb on OS loading an blue screen error oncurr and the pc reboots. i know many motherboards needs an DRAM voltage with this setup at 2.1v, but have i missed something?? i heard these P5Q series's bios setup this stuff itself.

be glad if someone could come with advice

You need to set the voltage and timings as per the specs for your RAM if you're running it at 1066 MHz: 5-5-5-15 timings and 2.1 or 2.2V. If that doesn't work, relax the timings to 6-6-6-18. At least you're not the only one having issues with those modules.
