I'm wondering if its at all possible to find out if my processor is 64 bit compatible. its an old one:P

Intel "Core" processors are 32-bit, whereas "Core 2" are 64-bit (note that "Core 2" is NOT the same as "Core Duo" ).

If it's an Athlon 64, then yes. If it's a Semperion thats AM2/AM2+ then yes. If it's Core 2 duo or Core 2 Quad then yes. Anything else you should google it.
