Core i3-530 overcloking limit. Need help.

Forum Overclocking : CPUs Core i3-530 overcloking limit. Need help.

Greetings to all of Tom's forum member.

I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I hope i will get better help.

Actually i want to over clock core i3-530 2.90 GHZ. Basically i already have overcloked version @ 4.00 GHZ. I wonder if i can push it to any further.

SETUP:

550watt PSU
Core i3-530
4 GB ram crossair
650 GB hard disk samsung
ATI radeon 2400 pro 256 MB
ARTIC cooler REV 2 Freezer

Also, this will be my first attempt to overclock CPU so go easy on me. I just want to know if i can push it a bit further let say 4.5 or further :bounce:

Here is more specific specs

- CPU: Intel Core i3 550 3.20GHz @ 4.00GHz
- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard
- RAM: Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel
- Cooler: Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev2 CPU cooler

I want to know with the above specs is it possible to push it bit further.

I have 550 WATT psu.

Please look at the specs because i like to have non-burned desktop for the time being.
