Funny look at this the AMD site say's it's still going for $139.99 on newegg.com

This doesn't seem right. Oh wait it says it as of july 29th... What's going on with the processors? Why raise the price? Is a new one coming out? I was just going to buy one today...

It's not unusual for newegg to have these fast bumps in prices, especially at the beginning of the month. You can either buy one at www.tigerdirect.com or www.ewiz.com for $148 - $155 or wait for newegg to adjust their prices.

i think thats a mistake, its like the otherday when they had the 945 for more than the 955, im sure theyll adjust it soon.

$140 is a good deal - I got one on the 'eblast' deal a few weeks ago for $130.

I think the ""$195.99"" price is a computer generated price that was set incorrectly by a programmer. New Egg has an inventory management system that bumps the price up as a declining inventory on a part number reaches a certain level.

The 'bump-up' price was just entered incorrectly - happens from time to time and results in crazy stuff like this.
