Will the gigabite GA K8NF-9 version 1.1 take a 500 GB or 1 TB hard drive. I am having issues getting the mother board to recongize my 1TB hard drive.

There is a 2008 F12K BIOS update that may rectify the situation:

DO NOT use @BIOS to update - it's a board killer!
