Hi All,
I completed my first build and I've got two problems:
1) Sometimes my dvd drives are recognized and show up on channel 0 in the bios and sometimes they don't. The jumpers look to be set correctly. Any thoughts?
2) Despite having installed vista 64 onto my hd (and the hd is recognized in the bios), my machine usually only gets to the logo page (gigabyte ga-ma790gp-ud4h) and stops there. It doesn't seem to move on to boot up windows. I've set the boot order so the hard drive goes first, also. If, during the startup, I hit delete and get into the bios, then exit the bios, it seems to boot up windows without a problem. Any ideas why windows won't just boot up automatically?
