Samsung SyncMaster 2032BW whines when dark colours are shown...

When ever I bring something dark on my monitor, it starts giving off a very annoying high-pitched whine (similar to what you get from CRT TVs). On the other hand, with lighter colours (which is most of the time when I'm surfing the web) it dies down. I have no idea what's causing the problem and have tried adjusting all possible settings. I have just had it delivered today.

Any help is appreciated.

P.S Forgive me if this thread is in the wrong section as there doesn't seem to be a section for monitors.
