Xp home adding domain

You can not add XP home to a domain only to a workgroup.
You will need XP Pro to join a domain.

You don't. WinXP Home is not designed to, nor can it truly be
made to, join a domain.

However, domain resources can be manually accessed by properly
authenticated users on WinXP Home machines
