hello all. i have a thermaltake aquarious 3 liquid cooling unit

http://www.overclockercafe.com/Reviews/cooling/Tt_Aquarius_III/index.html

it seems out of date compared to the things that are offerd now. my temps are alright. but i want to liquid cool my new 6970 gpu as well. im wondering if i can buy a waterblock for my 6970 and run it inline and maybe ad another small rad.. or would i need a stronger pump? should i upgrade off this unit? or just ditch this unit and start all over with something newer.

XSPC Rasa 360 with 6 fans in push/pull and full cover waterblock.

FrozenCPU is a little more pricey than most sites, but they have a huge selection.

If you go the route of a custom loop, look at spending $300 or so for your CPU+GPU loop.

I have some links below in my signature...please do yourself a favor and read as much as you can. The questions you are asking are very basic and introductory for watercooling. You'll be much better prepared to ask questions and seek help with more understanding of what you need.

Otherwise, simply ask complete strangers for advice on spending $100's, and then blindly buy it.

im really digging this setup. really hgh flow rate.. 1200lph. that means that i could run a gpu and what not inbetween cause the pump is stronger right? or is it the head room that i have to worry about?

You can run the CPU block and a GPU block just fine with that setup. If you decide to add another GPU, you'll need to consider an additional radiator, and possibly a stronger pump. I typically suggest a 2x120 radiator for each CPU or GPU in a loop, but with good fans, you can get away with the single 3x120 in that kit. There are people that swear by the pump in the Rasa, but it's still fairly new, so longevity hasn't been proven yet and under these stresses/loads with additional blocks and rads.

I guess it depends on your near/long range future plans for this loop. Once that is considered, there are potentially other options that will be better in the long-term.
