does the sw setup also contain the os? i have an HP Pavilion dv9035nr Notebook PC. i copied the sw setup onto an external harddrive, it is a very large file. over 3gb. it was setup on my computer as a separate partition. at the time i didn't know exactly what it was for.
can anyone tell me how i can use this file to restore my system to the original factory settings????

No. It is a driver folder created by HP Install.

contact the computer manufacturer for more information.
