I'm working on overclocking my memory right now using my MSI 790FX-GD70 and 4gb of G.Skill DDR3 2000 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231419&cm_re=ddr3_2000-_-20-231-419-_-Product)
I'm using a Phenom 2 965 so I'm trying to get the fastest DDR3 1600 speeds i can, right now I'm stuck at 7-7-7-20.
Any Ideas?

Solution
better higher FSB + low Timing. than lower divider
example in FSB in CPU-Z : (1600) @800 CAS 7 better and fastest than (1333 /10700) @667- CAS 6

could have been, but for stability when eating a high FSB will be higher the cas latency is the balance stability. to be safe do not be too low limits can be breached timing your ram, because to run into CL7 you must overvolt just a little. and if you want to try lower at 6-7-7-15 if still can run.?
test stability use intelburn test for fast set RAM to maximum + 20 Loop maybe 20minutes
test with software tool syssoft sandra .. and becnhmark
