i wanna ask you:
if i want to expand my DDR3 mem, which are running in dual channel.
must the my additional memory chips have the same latency??

For best results match your Ram as close as possible. Bytes, MHz, CL and Voltage.

No, it's not necessary. You can put DDR3 CL 8 with DDR3 CL9 and the system works without problems.

Sure, if it fits in the slot it'll work. Get'er done. Yea buddy.

Why waste your time or money if it isnt done right?
Do any Memory manufactures sell 4 x 2Gb sets with mis-matched modules? Think not.

If you HAVE to mis-match well............your getting it for free, right?
