Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to remove the front panel on a Dell Dimension 8300 desktop?

Inside, there are two tabs to the left of the hard drive bays but they don't release the front.

I've read several pages from Dell's website but I still can't find it.

Sorry, by 'front panel' I'm referring to the entire front piece of the computer ..
not just the USB cover door.

I'm actually trying to put that small door back on but it's plastic hinges are flopping around inside and need to be put back in their place.

Solved it.

The top and bottom have to come off first .. then the front. Be careful not to force or
break the tabs .. you have to really play with it so the pieces release correctly.
