Hello,
I have a WD6401AALS hard drive in my rig, using a program called HD Speed I am getting a maximum read speed of 106 MB/s. This is a 7200 rpm drive with a 32MB cache running at SATA 3GB/s. I'm not terrible good with HDD's I just know which ones will fit where.
According to my Windows Experience Index thing this is a real bottleneck.
What do you guys think?

Asus M4A78T-e
4GB DRR3
Phenom II 955 @ 3.7GHz
Win 7 x64

Thanks!

Thanks, but I don;t see anything about mode in properties?

If you are referring to the IDE AHCI thing, then in bios i know it's set to IDE, but I was told this was more stable and not very different in speeds.
