ive downloaded the correct driver from acer.com but i cant remember how to enable it. i have an acer aspire one netbook. pls help

You don't enable it. You download & install it. Did you do that ?

uninstall previously-installed driver;reboot;install the new driver and that is it.if you have any problem download 3dp chip from http://vga.pe.kr/3dp/chip_down_eng.php and run it and download the approbriate sound driver from same website
