Corsair HX1000 - system won't boot

What an earth can be wrong...
My system doesn't boot at all with Corsair HX1000, nothing happens, nothing comes to screen. If I switch Thermaltake Tough Power on it, everything works fine.

I have two identical systems with the same problem:
- ASRock X58 Supercomputer
- Corsair TR3X6G1600C9
- Intel i7-920
- Some graphics card, the result is always the same (PNY GF9800gt, PALIT GF9400)

When you connect the Corsair, do you see the motherboard's leds on?

Everything powers up, usb etc.
That mobo has no leds...

Corsairs are generally very good PSU's, but if you have two different systems where other PSU's work but your Corsair doesn't, then the Corsair is probably defective.

I may have a similar issue with my Corsair HX850 PSU, fans spin and LED blink - for 1 second then all is shut down... no screen, no nothing... and returning my PSU as RMA, I just hope it is that causing the problems and not my MB....
