Trying to install some ram on an old dell l933r got 2 256mb sdram but shows up as 2 32mb and system would not boot on that amount of ram.

The memory your Dell requires is 133MHz DDR RAM. This is old stuff but still available. What is the spec on the memory you bought?

Yes, what brand and model.

Are you leaving any existing RAM in the system? How much did it have before and in what configuration - like 2 128MBs, etc...

New ram Hyundai HY57V28420AT-S

I had 1 128mb Samsung in it before. Thanks for your help I'm seeing if you can somehow miraculously get it to work first and then I'll try ordering some from crucial.
