Hello, All was good. Then I installed a new video card, which went well, no issues. Except when I connected the machine back up and booted, the big Sata drive (Simpletech DUoPro 4T) came up but came up RAW. No cabling issues, the machine sess the drive and brings it up, but says it needs formatting. Anybody got ideas?

If a partition is corrupted in Windows, possible (but not all) symptoms are:

Invalid media type reading drive.
Abort, Retry, Fail?
File system is displayed as "RAW".
Windows may ask if you want to format the drive, such as warning "disk not formatted. do you want to format now?". Such as the follow picture.
File names contain "weird" characters.
"Sector not found" messages.

Dadiggle nailed it -- I may have pulled the sata cable at the wrong time --tried not to. Of course there is data I want, could live without it but would rather not. I will make a note back here when I try the fix.
