hi there, i am a little confuse about this FSB things.

Are all 1333mhz motherboards (any brand) supports all 1333mhz procie, specially intel?? coz i had a Mobo here ECS 94GCT M2/1333mhz, but base on the manual it only supports up to core 2 duo E8600. I wonder if is it ok to use core 2 quad procie running 1066mhz or 1333mhz on my board?? and is it overclocking when i use that kind of procie??

When using a native processor that is only 1066mhz, the motherboard will default to run at 1066mhz. This is true for either dual core or quad core.

If a native 1333mhz FSB Quad processor is not listed as supported, then you may have to wait untill a BIOS update is released by ECS to use it.

when it says supports up to e8600, it might mean that it doesnt have the power circuits to properly power a quad core CPU. Given how its a ECS board, thats not too surprising. I would do a bit more research before buying. Look on ECS website, they usually have a CPU supported list, look there.
