If it wasn't for custom hardware/lack of games I would prefer a Mac. But this is NOT the place to get an un-biased opinion about Mac/PC.

A Mac is just an overpriced Pc running Unix.
Give me a homebuilt Pc any day.

yes but everyone on here mainly either has experience with gaming PC's or high-end workstations.

not that Macintosh ***.

PC, no contest, and if you want cheap and stable OS, go Linux.

I agree that this is not the place to get unbiased Mac vs PC advice. Like was mentioned, this is the "Homebuilt Systems" section. You can't build your own Mac (legaly), so pretty much everyone on here is into building high-end PC's. Sure, some of us use Mac's also, but you're not going to find many Mac enthusiasts around here.

If you read the license agreement for OSX you would know that isn't true. Here's a quote from the license agreement: "This License allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on a single Apple-labeled computer at a time."
