Will the Corsair CM2X2048-6400C5 (2GB ram) fit onto my Intel D946GZIS motherboard please reply fast i am going to go buy 1 in a while

They'll fit and they should run at 667 MHz.

Yes since the MB is DDR2 supported and that Corsair is a It is a 667DDR2 240 pin DIMM. You cannot use a DDR2800 module unless you run it as 667mhz.

Because the fastest supported memory, according to Intel, is 667 MHz. As long as the modules have an SPD table for 333 MHz and require 1.8V-1.9V, they should work. Are they the best modules that you could buy for that motherboard? Definitely not.

You should buy less expensive modules that meet the specs and are certified to work with that motherboard:
