I have 1000W PSU with 4 x 6 pin, on two of them it says 10A which I presume stand for amps and on other two it says 6 A, I use as well dual 6 pin to single 8 pin adapter. Do I connect two 10 A to 8 pin and use 6 a to the 6 pin or put 10 a to 6 pin and 6a and 10a to 8 pin ?and is it enough amps for ati 4870 x2

Select the single eight pin and any one of the six pins and you'll be fine. Is there any guidance in the manuals for the GPU or the PSU?
