I am the Manager of a rent-to-own store in Klamath Falls, OR
We recently recieved back an Acer computer with a Western Digital WD2500BEVT hard drive.
The problem I am having is that because we were repossessing the computer, the customer put in a HDD User Password and refuses to give us that password.
I have tried everyhting I know how to reset the password but have had no luck.
Acer and Western Digital are no help. They say that they do not have a backdoor password and that I have to buy another HD.
I have also tried hooking it another computer as a slave but the computer doesn't recognize the drive.
