I have a Dell Axim x50 with Windows Media 10. I connect to a wifi with a
proxy. The internet works fine. Whenever I try to play any streamed video
(for example any video that's right on the site that comes up when you click
on the globe in Media Player), it displays the link in Media player but does
not play. Why is this?

It could be firewall related. You could try using only HTTP for your
streaming. On your mobile device, launch windows media player, then click on
menu, then options, and network. Uncheck UDP and TCP.
See if that works
