I use sat receiver Topfield 3000CI pro for TV reception. I'm thinking about
buying an LCD screen for watching TV with this receiver (so actually NOT a
TV).
Can LCD screens be connected to a sat receiver without any problems?
On my receiver I have composite video out (CINCH) and two SCART out.
The receiver has the following video settings: CVBS, RGB and YUV.

Although I am known as a fan of LCD technology here, I don't advise this.
Compared with the best LCD TVs, LCD monitors seem to have much less
stringent design criteria with regard to important parameters such as
viewing angle and motion response. I have both LCD TVs and monitor; the
former are very good indeed for watching TV, and the latter is near-perfect
for writing this, but I wouldn't want to watch a good film or a natural
history program on the latter.

Possible caveat: the monitor is quite a bit older than the TVs, perhaps
things have improved?
