Hey guys, I just bought a new PC and installed Win 7 RC build 7100 on it. Now the thing is, its already started giving me problems. I installed a LAN Driver (Realtek 8111/8168 LAN driver for gigabit) which came with my motherboard (Gigabyte Ep45 DS3R)..
It installed perfectly and my internet was soon up and running but i was a little happy too soon. I can now see that Win 7 sometimes stops recognizing my driver, disconnects me from the net and when i try to troubleshoot, it tells me to check the wires of my modem. I check them and replug them. Restart my modem. Even restart my PC. Nothing Works. Then I reinstall my driver, and voila! internets working again. But thats temporary. Soon, it again disconnects me and stops recognizing my driver. Now, I cant keep doing this drill so plz help me with this...

Ronnghosh,

Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 RC Support Forum located here http://tinyurl.com/9fhdl5 . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to check the threads there for additional support with drivers.

Try different drivers. Sometimes vista drivers will work in win7.
