Overclock amd 965 non BE

I need help overclock my brand new amd 965 non black edition. Here are my specs

amd phenom ii 965 3.4 gig
asus mother board
nvidia gtx 460
zalman air cooler
4 gig kington ddr3 1600mhz
700 psu

I wanted to overclock past 4gig. I'm really new to overclocking after hours of reading this forum, i go in to the bios and bump up my FSB in 5 increment. I leave the core voltage on auto. I be able to get to 3.9 with the reference clock at 230. the system boot to windows but it is not stable. Prime 95 run for only 15 min and i get the blue screen. how can i make my system more stable and can it get past 3.9 gig. In my bios there some thing about the Hyperlink, and northbridge, cpu over voltage, what are those? Can some one help me please??????

  1. I wasn't aware they made a non-be version of the 965, in which case you should refer to this guide http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/258573-29-black-edition-overclock-raising-multiplier-guide
