I recently reinstalled vista ultimate in a Toshiba P205 laptop, and like an IDIOT I let Microsoft update install the graphics driver. Now every time the system boots up it keeps asking do i want to finish install the Nvidia Go 7600 drivers no matter what you choose it just keeps doing the same thing.

I installed the drivers from Nvidia's website still the same thing, I tried going to MSCONFIG and removing any instance from the start up menu..... same issue.

anyone got any idea's to stop this insanity ????

Not sure what exactly the problem is.

If you have two drivers isntalling uninstall them both, run driver sweaper and install one again.

If windows update is just thinking the driver it is downlaoding is the correct one then go into windows update and add that update to the hide/ignore list.
