Best rumors Ive heard is that TSMC is still having problems with the 40nm node, and yields are so so.
Ive also heard theres alot of silicon being ordered on 40nm, coming. But thats for other cards as well.
Going under 45nm has been known to be problematic, and itll be dicy until everyone incorporates HKMG, from what I hear as well.
Quote: " I have seen many nice charts from Intel, among others, over the last few years, noting that the yield learning curves are actually improving, node on node, allowing for faster volume ramps. "
