I'm on a HP Netbook.
When i connect via Ethernet i have no problems. Wheni try to connect via wireless, i can connect to the network, and i'm receiving packets but i cannot send packets.
I have two other laptops that can connect fine to the network via wireless.
When I use the HP laptop anywhere else to connect to via wireless, i have no problems.
possibly this i a router problem.
I'm using a SMC router/modem
id number: smc8014wg-si
it's from timewarner.
my desktop also cannot connect through ethernet.
originally i went through timewarner to try to figure out the problem. it wasn't an ip problem or configuration problem.
so i thought it might be a hardware problem, even though my nic seemed to be working properly, i installed a new one.
that didn't solve anything, they are enabled to receive and send packets, but when i connect to the network, i can only receive packets and not send.
someone please help, i've been reading forums, and working at this problem for days and now i'm going crazy.
