I just turne my computer on and I had no video feed, the serial cable from my monitor will not fit the monitor outlet in the video card, you have any idea if I can keep my monitor pluged in its old place

YOur card has two DVI outputs, you'll need a DVI to VGA adpator like one here :

My card came with a dvi cable but no dvi to vga adaptor

Oh well, you'll have to buy a DVI-to-VGA adapter.

Seriously? I thought that mostly all modern video cards come with DVI to VGA adapters.
