Safe voltage for i7-860?

I'm a noob to overclocking, I'm using a i7-860 with a gigabyte P55-UD4P mobo. What is a safe voltage for the CPU? I'm currently at 4.0 Ghz at 1.275 volts. Albeit - not stable. At 1.275 Prime95 workers stop after a few minutes. When I raise it to 1.281, Prime95 freezes up.

I'm at a 20x multiplier and BLCK is 200. I have 1333 RAM so my memory is only running at 1200 bc of the memory multiplier of 6. A multipler of 8 brings it to 1600, but it doesn't seem to be stable there with a voltage of 1.5 - not sure if I want to go higher.
I'm a brand new overclocker here, still diving in and finding my way around.

What is a safe range for the voltage? Am I on the right path?

I would stay in between 0.6500V-1.4000V that is what Intel says.

With the H50 cooler, i'm hitting 80C when using prime 95, is this an OK temp?

I think you are good to 95C

H50 is not a good cooler 80C is about average for your CPU and OC.

I have the VTT set to auto, (it reads 1.10) it boots fine. When I change it to something like 1.2, it doesn't boot. Is it ok to leave this at auto?

is it bad to go with a lower multi and higher BLCK?

probably very late response, but seeing at your specs, you still use 860?
Couple of things:
-80C is a bit to much! Especially with the H50, you should get lower temps! (Intel specs give 72,7C as max)
- Also mixed sticks can get stable issue's...
- another thing to bare in mind, raising your BLCK will raise memory controller speed.. So your Vtt (can also be called Vimc) must also be raised.
- something I don't have own experience with, but read a couple of times is: that the 860 doesn't like a BLCK of 200... But that's just what pops up sometimes on the forums..
