spec mobo : P6T delux v2 CPU i7 920 2.66Ghz ram: OCZ3G1600LV6Gk triple channel 6Gb of RAM
first time messing with BIOS i went in there early and changed the RAM fequency from the locked 1066mhz - 1600mhz and that was it and i restarted. what im worried about now is did this changed any other value ? all the other settings were untouched everything was left on auto assuming BIO is smart is it safe for me to assume that BIOS left the DRAM voltage at a safe level of 1.65v as suggested by i7 boards ? or has that value gone up? is there a program that i could use that tells me specifically the details of my RAM in plain english ?
also by changing this my ram latency now is 9-9-9-24 thoughy suggested/rated speed was 1600Mhz at 8-8-8-20 did i do something wrong did just screwd up my system?
thank you

I think you're saying that you changed the speed of the RAM in the BIOS from 1066 to the proper speed of 1600. Nothing wrong with that.
It's unlikely that your Auto setting of DRAM voltage is actually putting out 1.65V but is most likely putting out 1.5V. You should change that voltage to the correct 1.65V required by the RAM.
The correct latency is 8-8-8-24 - so if you changed to that you should be fine.
You can see the settings within Windows with CPUz from www.cpuid.com
You should test your RAM from DOS using Memtest86
