in easy tune 6 my processor core name is KUMA when it should be CALLISTO. My processor is named AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition, which it is, but doesn't have the right core name. Why is this? KUMA is the core name for the AMD Athlon X2 7850.
Just wondering if anyone could explain why it says this.

CPUz ver 1.52 properly identifies the 550 callisto chip - I can't find any update for EasyTune6 that will show it properly. Since it shows the Kuma core, it thinks it's 65nm as well. I hope that doesn't cause any overclocking issues (not sure why it would, but...)

The newst version of easy tune 6 now recognizes the CPU correctly.

However, the update doesn't seem to work. You will have to go to the gigabyte website and download the new version in the downloads section. Make sure to uninstall the one you have first. You can find it here:

Easy Tune 6 (newest)

You may be able to get the easy tune 6 somewhere else, but I just got it there and it worked just fine.
