Hey i recently upgraded my computer and have the follwoing config-
Zotac Geforce GTS 250
MSI P45 NEO
2X2GB Kingston RAM
Cooler Master Extreme Power 500W

I am confused as to which processor i should buy, either a Intel Core 2 Quad-Q8200 or Intel Core 2 Duo E8400.

the processor is the only component left to purchase now.

I will be using this computer for gaming and i dont want to upgrade the computer for a couple of years.

Thnx in advance

if you don't want to upgrade for a couple of years get the Q8200

you can always over-clock it to get the speed up

Intel is nuts... One of their Q8200 (yorkfield) sells for 240.00$ @ 2.33Ghz ... what a ripoff... The x4 965 will eat that chip alive for the same price.....

On the other hand their cheaper Q8200 sells for almost 100$ less....

30w less TDP for a bill...... Who is doing the marketing for Intel???
