HOW TO CHANGE SATA IN insyde bios

Hi guys

I have an insyde bios and i want to change the HDD to IDE so as to install windows xp. However I can not see how to do that in this version since there is nothing about HDD control.

What computer / BIOS version are you using?

If you have no option to change from AHCI in the BIOS it's either a BIOS hack or slip stream the AHCI drivers into the XP installation. The latter is probably the easiest way and it can be done using nlite.

computer is : Compaq CQ62-225NR
BIOS is : insyde bios f.07
