Formatting a disk partition...

About 2 weeks ago I had the need to install a different Operating System on my computer, but now I don't need it anymore...

Right now I have one partition with Windows 7 and another with Windows Vista.

I want to format the partition which contains Windows Vista, but I installed Windows Vista AFTER having Windows 7, so now when I turn on my PC, it automatically goes on Windows Vista (I can choose to W7 but if I don't do anything for 30 seconds it'll go on Vista).

Is it safe to format the Windows Vista partition even though it's chosen as the main one by default?

  1. Don't know about 7 or vista, but in XP there in a boot.ini file that can be edited, take a look see what you find...:)
