Last night I was attempting to program the RM-Y808 remote that I use with my
HD100 to work with my new Sony receiver. In the end, all I managed to do was
screw up the remote's ability to run the HD100!!!
Is there a way to reset it to factory defaults or re-program it with the
correct hardware code for the HD100?
Any insight would be appreciated.

It should be in the owners manual. If not, try taking the batteries out for
a while, like anywhere from 20 minutes for as long as you can.
I always felt the basic codes for the device the remote was for, were built
in. This may not be correct, but do you have the selectors in the right
place to operate the unit?

Clark,
Thanks for the suggestion.
I tried entering 000 and wouldn't you know, it worked.
