No option in the bios...

i have an i5 -760 @2.8ghz with intel dh55tc motherboard...

i dont have any option in the bios for overclocking...
the only option in it is to change the multiplier...
but as soon as i change the multiplier it comes back to the original value(23)...
is there some prob with the motherboard or there is no overclocking option in it????

Intel DH55TC has only one overclocking option: the adjustment of the CPU base clock from 133 MHz to 240 MHz in 1 MHz steps.

in bios : PERFORMANCE
Processor overdrive :
- Host clock frequency overdrive : manual
- CPU idle State set High
- Intel turbo bost : disabled

Performance memory profile : manual
in this section you can change memory multipiler , CAS latency, TRC etc

always control your temp don't too high , dangerous !
